It has plenty of features to help you with your editing work! The trim / multi trim tools are powerful and easy to use. As in other products, the editing is non-destructive i.e. the original is never overwritten.
Lots of effect, filters & transitions to choose from, and the effects are also customizable. Chaining effects is also possible i.e. you can combine different effects together on a particular clip.
Audio & Photo Editing
Common audio editing tasks like fade in/out, cross fades, volume adjustment, and panning from left to right can be carried out with VideoStudio. It also has a number of audio filters to remove unwanted sounds like echo, hissing, and even to amplify certain sounds.
Photo editing is standard - you can import, crop, resize, rotate, and do basic edits like change contrast and brightness levels.
Disc Creation
Corel Video Studio comes with predefined menu templates, which you can use to create a DVD. You can add chapters at fixed intervals, or you can let the software automatically detect chapters for you. Multi-layer menus are not possible in VideoStudio Standard though!
To write to Blu-ray discs, you will need VideoStudio X2 Pro; VideoStudio X2 cannot do it!
